Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born January 31, 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo on the Showcase TV series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, as well as Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed actress director producer playwright educator as well as Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of her earliest memories of existence, such as attending rehearsals and watching of shows. Silk featured in a number of commercials while she was young. Silk completed her studies at St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was able to move out of Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles within the years following 1999. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first was introduced to him during an acting workshop in Los Angeles. The couple was engaged in 2009 before getting married in an unofficial ceremony in took place in December. In April of 2011, they renew their vows during a Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk had a son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk has a number of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win Gemini Awards in 2009 to play this character. Her most notable role was as Bo Dennis, a succubus, in Lost Girl. Silk announced to the fans her good news that she had become pregnant while filming season 3 during an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was presented by Showcase in a special Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the premiere. Silk is doing work on the show since the third season finale episode was first conceived on January 6 2013 on Twitter, announced that she would return to the show on the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth. CNN's Cable News Network named her performance as Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved television Couples.
