The biological meaning of adult means an animal with the capacity to reproduce. Adults are social concepts as well as a legal concept in the human world. Legal adults are those who is at the point of maturity. They are defined as autonomous, self-sufficient, and responsible. Legal adults can also be described as a major. The age of 18 is the legal adult age, but this definition can differ by country, legal rights or the development of a person's psychological.

Adulthood refers to the time in the human lifespan in where physical and mental maturity has occurred. Many people believe that the age of adulthood starts at 20 years or older. Old age is about 60 years old after middle years. Adulthood is divided into three distinct phases early adulthood (18-30 years), Middle Adulthood (30-60 years) and late adulthood (60%-60%). When we reach the early phases of adulthood (between 20-40), our bodies have reached their full maturity even though the weight and height of our bodies may rise slightly. In the early years of adulthood, we attain the peak of our physical abilities.
